TOLEDO, Ohio — A 17-year-old is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot at a west Toledo apartment complex on Sept. 25.
The call came in to dispatch around 11:41 p.m. on Friday night. Police on the scene confirmed that one person had been shot in the incident, which happened at an apartment complex on the 1800 block of Fielding Ave. in west Toledo.
The juvenile victim was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. Two other people on scene were taken to the police station to be questioned, but no charges have yet been filed.
Detectives say they do not believe the shooting to be random.
This shooting happened just one night after a man was shot in killed in a shooting at another Toledo apartment complex.
