TOLEDO, Ohio — One woman was taken to the hospital after a crash in north Toledo early Monday morning.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. at North Summit and Erie Street.
Toledo police at the scene told WTOL 11 the driver of a white Kia lost control and drove off of the roadway before hitting a pole, "shearing" the pole off at the base.
The driver's condition is unknown at this time.
Toledo Edison was called out to repair downed wires.
