Bullets fly through west Toledo home, nearby business early Monday, TPD investigating

Police found multiple bullet holes and several shell casings at the home. A nearby business also suffered broken glass.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating a shooting that left bullet holes through a west Toledo home early Monday morning.

Officers responded to a call around 3 a.m. at a home on the 1100 block of Broer Avenue near Dorr Street. When police arrived they found multiple bullet holes inside the home. Several shell casings were also found in the roadway in front of the home.

A second crime scene was found just feet away at a business located in a shopping plaza on Dorr Street. Officers found broken glass and shell casings at the business.

Police reports did not say if there were any people inside the home or business at the time of the shooting incidents.

No arrests were made and no injuries were reported.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
