TPD looking for 2 suspects who robbed east Toledo store at gunpoint

According to reports, an employee that was working told police two male suspects showed a gun, stole cash, and fled the scene.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating an armed robbery that took place in east Toledo Friday.

Officers responded to an aggravated robbery call just before 9:45 p.m. at Wally's Carryout on East Broadway Street. 

An employee that was working at the time told police two Black male suspects entered the store and one of them showed a gun before stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and fleeing the scene, according to reports.

No arrests were made. TPD did not provided further information to identify the suspects.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
