Two charged with premeditated aggravated murder in homicide of north Toledo teen; one suspect not in custody

Terrance Green, 14, was shot multiple times and died from his injuries Monday.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Police have named two suspects in the homicide of Terrance Green, a 14-year-old who was shot and killed Monday in an incident that also left two others injured. 

According to an updated press release from Toledo police, warrants were issued for Jermaine Johnson, 24, and Makala Anderson, 26, Wednesday. Anderson was arrested and booked into Lucas County Jail and is facing a charge of premeditated aggravated murder. During an initial appearance at Toledo Municipal Court Thursday, a judge set Anderson's bond at $1 million with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Dec. 29.

Johnson, who also faces a premeditated aggravated murder charge, is not yet in custody, police said. He is pictured below:

Green was shot multiple times and died from his injuries, according to an autopsy report.

Another victim remains in critical condition and the third victim was grazed in the shooting, police said. A fourth victim in the incident was not struck.

Green was found by officers Monday after police responded to a call of a person shot at the corner of Mulberry Street and Bronson Avenue just after 1:15 p.m. Two of the victims were found shot at the corner and a third was found nearby.

All three victims were teens, according to police.
