TOLEDO, Ohio — Shots were fired at an Old West End apartment building Sunday morning, police said.
According to a Toledo police report, crews responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2100 block of Collingwood Boulevard at approximately 8 a.m. At the scene, a witness told officers he was standing at the front entrance to the location when an unknown suspect driving a black Chrysler 300 shot at him and fled the area.

Police examined the scene and located damage to the entryway door frame where gunfire had struck it.
No injuries were reported. Police continue to investigate.
