Second person indicted following September massage parlor sting

Toledo police and SWAT teams arrested four people in September after a criminal investigation into massage parlors. One suspect was indicted Tuesday.

TOLEDO, Ohio — A Lucas County grand jury indicted a woman on a felony charge Tuesday, several months after she was arrested when Toledo police investigated several massage parlors in September.

Kwi Sun Hood was indicted on a fourth degree felony charge of promoting prostitution. Police claimed Hood admitted to officers she managed a brothel in the 100 block of South Byrne Road.

Hood was arrested earlier this year along with three others when police launched a criminal investigation in which five massage parlors were searched by SWAT teams in relation to human trafficking.
