LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio — Crews closed part of US 24 in Lucas County after a crash caused a gas leak Friday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Crews shut down US 24 between Fallen Timbers and SR 64 in both directions Friday afternoon. The Toledo post of the patrol assisted the Lucas County Sheriff's Office crews as they addressed the situation.

The roadway reopened around 1 p.m., according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
It is currently unknown how many vehicles were involved or if anyone was injured.
