St. John's grad makes Saturday Night Live debut

Mike O'Brien, a 1995 graduate of St. John's Jesuit High School in Toledo, made his debut as a cast member of Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

NEW YORK, NY (Toledo News Now) - Mike O'Brien, a 1995 graduate of St. John's Jesuit High School in Toledo, made his debut as a cast member of Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

O'Brien is one of six new cast members for the show's 39th season. The St. John's grad appeared in several sketches Saturday night, including one with host Tina Fay entitled "Used Car Commercial."

Before joining the cast of SNL, O'Brien performed at Chicago improv theatres, wrote for SNL and appeared on IFC's "Portlandia." O'Brien also hosts a web series called "7 Minutes in Heaven," in which he interviews celebrities.
