SIGHTS AND SOUNDS | South Carolina defeats Iowa in NCAA Women's Basketball Championship in Cleveland

Thousands of fans were in downtown Cleveland to watch Iowa and South Carolina compete for the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship.

CLEVELAND — All eyes were on Cleveland today as the South Carolina Gamecocks finished a perfect 38-0 season after defeating Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2024 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship.

The Final Four in Cleveland began with the semifinals on Friday night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Unbeaten South Carolina pulled away from NC State 78-59, and then Caitlin Clark and Iowa came from behind to defeat Paige Bueckers and UConn 71-69.
