Toledoan Wins $1 Million in Ohio Lottery's Instant Game

TOLEDO -- Brian Witty is used to recognizing precious items, thanks to the years he's spent as a jeweler. He couldn't believe it when it appeared he had won the top prize of $1 million in the $200 Million Cash Spectacular instant game -- so he returned to the place of purchase to check it out. Turns out the too-good-to-be-true ticket is the real thing.

When he took his ticket back to Bennett Express at 5013 Bennett Road in Toledo, his status as winner of the game's top prize was confirmed. Brian will be receiving $50,000 for 20 years, for a total of $1 million.

This leaves ten $1 million prizes left to win in the $200 Million Cash Spectacular instant game.

This is the first Lottery win for the husband and father of two young children. He buys two Lottery tickets every week. Brian's thinking about using the money to purchase a bigger house for his family.

Here's hoping that house is near a golf course because Brian loves spending some of his free time on the green.
