MAUMEE, OH (Toledo News Now) - A Toledo business is moving to Maumee's Arrowhead Park this summer.

The city awarded a $40,000 job grant to the Virtual Technologies Group. The company has been expanding rapidly, so they will soon be moving into an Arrowhead Park building that has been vacant for three years.

The building is a 2-story, 8,000-square-foot building on Indian Wood Circle.

"It brings a new group of people into Arrowhead Park and into the Maumee community," said Maumee City Administrator John Jezak. "People are going to eat lunch in Maumee, they're going to buy goods and services there."

Virtual Technologies Group is a business-to-business operation, consisting of information technology sales and services. They are expected to bring in a steady flow of new jobs.

"At the start of the project, they will have 20 people," Jezak said. "They will be employed at a full-time basis in Maumee, and we hope over three years that employment will grow to 40."
