TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - The Cleveland Cliffs Foundation Inc. has awarded SeaGate Food Bank $15,000 towards their mission to eradicate hunger in Northwest Ohio on Tuesday.
The funds will be used to provide fresh fruits and vegetables and add stops to Alice's Mobile Market, which currently focuses on senior and subsidized housing locations.
The Cliffs announced in 2017 that Toledo would be the location of their first hot-briquetted iron production plant and have since worked towards helping the underserved in the Toledo community.
