TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - A Toledo landmark, Schmucker's Restaurant is celebrating 70 years on Tuesday with throwback prices and a helping hand.
Tuesday marks seven decades of serving up some of the best pie in Toledo.
The quaint and historic homestyle diner on Reynolds Road is giving customers throwback prices: 10 cents for a soda and about $2 for an entire breakfast!
Best known for ts wide variety of pies, Schmucker's also serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner every day except Sunday.
The owner, Doug Schmucker, is donating 70 percent of the proceeds to Sunshine Communities in honor of his brother, Paul, who was supported many, many years ago at Sunshine. Sunshine Communities has been supporting people with developmental disabilities since 1950.
