TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Hope you brought your appetite - Restaurant Week Toledo is coming soon.
Restaurant Week runs Thursday, Feb. 21 through Saturday, March 2. It encourages Toledoans to dine out and support local businesses.
There are more than 25 restaurants participating - up from last year. Each has developed special prix-fixe menus with cuisine sure to delight. These special menus are only available during the 10 days of Restaurant Week and will feature lunch and dinner options priced at $10, $20 or $30 (excluding beverages, tax and gratuities).
Restaurant Week Toledo promotions are dine-in only and due to the event's popularity, reservations are recommended.
A portion of the proceeds goes to Leadership Toledo, an organization that promotes leadership development for local youth and adults.
Restaurant Week will have a kick-off event at The Blarney Irish Pub & Grill downtown with members of the Toledo Walleye Thursday at 7 p.m. Hockey players will gladly pose for pictures and sign autographs. The Blarney is one of 27 of Toledo's best locally-owned restaurants, many that define the art of dining in the region, participating in Restaurant Week 2013.
