TOLEDO, Ohio — Multiple residents were displaced from their apartment after a vehicle crashed into a west Toledo building, rendering it structurally unsound late Tuesday.

According to a Toledo police report, officers responded to the Sylvania Food Mart in the 1400 block of West Sylvania Avenue at approximately 10:40 p.m. regarding a crash into the building, which houses at least one apartment above the store.

Police said they determined a driver made an improper lane change, causing the crash. The driver was not arrested.
