TOLEDO, Ohio — A popular gas station and convenience store chain has announced the locations of its first six stores in the Toledo area.
In late February, officials confirmed that Sheetz was planning a location on Navarre Avenue in Oregon. A Sheetz spokesperson announced five additional locations across the greater Toledo on Tuesday.
The six Toledo-area Sheetz will be located at:
- 1150 Clinic Drive, Maumee, OH 43537
- 6633 Dorr St., Toledo, OH 43615
- 6048 US-20, Toledo, OH 43615
- 2760 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH 43616
- 3955 N McCord Road, Sylvania, OH 43560
- 1391 Arrowhead Drive, Maumee, OH 43537
The chain, which combines the traditional gas station with a made-to-order restaurant, was established in 1952 in Altoona, Pennsylvania and currently operates over 720 stores.
The six Toledo-area locations are tentatively scheduled to open later this year and in 2025, and are part of Sheetz's recent plans for expansion across Ohio and into Michigan.
Sheetz is currently constructing a $145 million facility in Findlay, which the company said will create more than 700 jobs over the course of five years.
It is unclear when the Findlay facility will open.
