SYLVANIA, Ohio — UPDATE: Derick Ruma was located and is "safe and well" according to Sylvania police.

A 16-year-old is missing from his home in Sylvania, according to police.
Sylvania police are asking for assistance in locating "runaway juvenile" Derick Ruma, who is six feet tall, weighs about 130 pounds, wears glasses and has brown hair and brown eyes.
He is believed to have left his home in the early morning hours of Tuesday and was last known to be wearing a black coat, blue jeans, white Adidas shoes with three black stripes and a stocking cap. He is also believed to have his bicycle, a black and neon green Mongoose brand mountain bike, with him.
Anyone who knows where Derick is or can assist in locating him is asked to reach out to the Sylvania Police Division. During normal business hours, call Detective Collins at 419-885-8909. After hours, call 419-885-8902.
