Man charged with murder after fatal shooting at north Toledo apartment complex

TOLEDO, Ohio — A local man is facing multiple charges after another man was shot and killed in north Toledo Friday.

Craig Woods, 27, was indicted with murder and felonious assault charges Friday.

Woods is accused of shooting and killing 45-year-old Darcy Ivory.

Toledo Police say they were dispatched to the Regina Manor Apartment complex to a shots fired call on March 13.

When they arrived, they found 45-year-old Darcy Ivory with at least one gunshot wound.

Ivory was treated at the scene and later transported to a local hospital where he later died.

Woods was arrested at the scene.

This is Toledo's 6th homicide of the year. This time a year ago, Toledo had 8 homicides.
