One killed in Erie County crash

ERIE COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — One person died in a single-vehicle crash in Erie County Friday evening.

Randy Ulery, 46, of Bellevue, was driving southbound on state Route 4 in Groton Township just after 6:30 p.m. when he drove off the right side of the road and stuck two trees and a tree stump. His vehicle, a 2014 Kia Soul, became fully engulfed in fire after the crash, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Ulery was trapped in the vehicle and died from his injuries, OSHP said.
