OREGON, Ohio — The body of a man reported missing from Holland was located Wednesday at a marina near Lake Erie.
The body of 62-year-old Troy Joseph Valentine was pulled from the water at Anchor Pointe Marina in Jerusalem Township on Wednesday, according to Lucas County Sheriff Mike Navarre. Valentine was reported as missing since the evening of April 14.
Valentine's black Ford F-150 pickup truck was located in the 6500 block of Bay Shore Road in Oregon on April 15. The truck was unoccupied when officers arrived, police said.
Police checked the area of Bay Shore Road and portions of Maumee Bay State Park, but did not locate Valentine. Authorities did not specify when Valentine was first reported missing.
Valentine's cause of death has not yet been released and the investigation is ongoing, according to the sheriff's office.
