Power outages in northwest Ohio, southeast Michigan during winter weather

Here is how you can report an outage in your area and ways to check when utility companies estimate power will be restored.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Winter weather is sweeping across our area and with it comes snow, high winds and power outages.

You may spot downed power lines during any type of severe weather. Downed power lines should always be treated as if they are live and dangerous. The ground and nearby objects may also be affected. Stay at least 30 feet away from any downed or low-hanging lines and call 911 if you see a downed wire.
