TIFFIN, Ohio — Former First Lady Laura Bush, wife of former President George W. Bush, and daughter Barbara Pierce Bush are slated to speak at Heidelberg University.
The pair will speak at the 10th anniversary celebration for the Patricia Adams Lecture Series.
The series is designed to present exceptional female leaders from a broad spectrum of professional backgrounds to expose students who have made a significant impact in their careers.
Laura Bush is an author of best-selling memoir Spoken from the Heart and best-selling children's book Our Great Big Backyard. She also continues to work on global healthcare innovations, education reform and supporting men and women who have served in the military.
Barbara Bush is co-founder and board chair of Global Health Corps., which mobilizes a global community of young leaders to build the movement for heath equity.
They will participate in moderated conversations for students and special guests and will attend the PALS dinner and provide remarks, according to the university.
Laura and Barbara Bush will be at Heidelberg on October 2.
