Memorial Day parades across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan

The Memorial Day parade is a time-honored tradition for communities across the country.

OHIO, USA — Memorial Day weekend is often thought of as the unofficial beginning of summer but it is also a solemn holiday in which Americans remember those who were lost in the country’s military engagements.

One of the time-honored traditions for many families and individuals is the Memorial Day parade.

Toledo will not be holding parade this year. 

Communities around northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan will be holding parades on May 27 including the following municipalities:

Sylvania  10:15 a.m., - Northview H.S., Silica to Monroe to Main to Erie to Garden Park to Veterans Memorial Park 

Findlay 9 a.m. - Bridge Ceremony on Main Street Bridge followed by parade. American Legion to Maple Grove Cemetery.

Bowling Green 10 a.m. - Main and Washington to Court to Thurstin to Ridge to Merry to Wood County Courthouse

Fremont  10 a.m., - Front St. 

Maumee 9:30 a.m. 

Perrysburg  10 a.m., - Perrysburg Historic District 

Port Clinton  10 a.m. - Ottawa County Courthouse down 4th Street, Monroe St. to Veterans Park 

Woodville 8:30 a.m. - Main Street 

Bryan 9:15 a.m. - Goodwill parking lot to Fountain Grove Cemetery

Clyde 10 a.m. 

Tiffin 10 a.m. - Washington Street to Frost Parkway 

Upper Sandusky 9:30 a.m.

Liberty Center 10:15 a.m. - Heath Cemetery to Young Cemetery

Wauseon 9 a.m. - Elm and Clinton to Union Cemetery

Napoleon 10 a.m. - Florida Flatrock Volunteer Fire Department

Monroe 2 p.m. - South Monroe Street and Jones Avenue to St. Mary's Park at North Monroe Street and Elm Avenue

Adrian 11 a.m. - Adrian Armory to Memorial Park
