Crash causes backup on I-475 Saturday morning

A car crash caused a major backup on I-475 Saturday morning. Traffic has begun to clear up at this time.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Update: Traffic has begun to clear up at this time.

Several lanes on I-475 South and US-23 beyond State Route-2 and Airport Highway are seeing a significant traffic backup due to a vehicle collision on I-475. The crash occurred around 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 13.

WTOL 11 news is on scene  and says that responders are currently working to clear the roadway to clear up the traffic blockage.

Details on the accident and the conditions of those involved are currently unknown.
