TOLEDO, Ohio — Police responded to a late-night shooting on Saturday at Andover Apartments near Eastgate Road in south Toledo.
The shooting took place around 11:30 p.m.
Responding Toledo police officers on scene said a man was shot inside an apartment at the complex. It is unknown how many times the victim was shot, but officers state that he was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Police told WTOL 11 that they are looking for the suspect who fled the scene in a vehicle before police arrived.
The suspect was unknown, police said in a report.
