MONROE, Mich. — A man wanted by Toledo police for sexual abuse of a minor was arrested by the United States Marshals Service in Michigan.

US Marshals said the Detroit Fugitive Apprehension team arrested Kevin Javon Jordan at a residence near the 1200 block of Josephine Ct. in Monroe Thursday morning.

Jordan was wanted by TPD for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor after allegedly crawling through a bedroom window to have sex with a minor.

The Marshals said Jordan is in custody at the Monroe County Jail and is awaiting extradition back to Ohio.

The arrest was a result of a tip provided by the public to the task force, according to the Marshals.
