OHIO, USA — State police agencies issued 504 citations to Ohioans during a weekend operation that focused speed, safety belt and OVI enforcement on I-75, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The initiative included OSHP, Michigan State Police and Kentucky State Police and ran from 12:01 a.m. on Feb. 16 to 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 18.

According to an OSHP press release, 454 citations were issued for speed, 44 for safety belt violations and six for OVI.

There were 846 total citations issued by OSHP, MSP and KSP during the multi-state enforcement effort. 741 citations were issued for speed, 93 for safety belt violations and 12 for OVI.

MSP issued four speed citations and made one OVI arrest.
