DETROIT — Just 90 minutes after tickets went on sale Friday, Garth Brooks fans had either scored the highly sought-after passes to his Ford Field show or were left ropin' the wind.

More than 70,000 tickets were sold Friday morning for the Feb. 22 concert. The Detroit show is the only Michigan stop for the seven-time Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year. The show will mark the first time Brooks has ever played at Ford Field.

Brooks' current single, "Dive Bar,” was recorded with Blake Shelton. The day of its debut on country radio, “Dive Bar” was the most added song with 135 total stations.  It was recorded for his upcoming studio album, Fun.

The single inspired a seven-date DIVE BAR tour to dive bars in country music capitals around the country. In March, Brooks launched The Stadium Tour. In the first nine stadiums announced, Brooks also set massive ticket sale records.
