Chilly start to Easter Sunday with highs only reaching into upper 40s later in the day | WTOL 11 Weather

A big warmup is in store for the end of next week when temperatures could easily reach into the 70s.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Sunny skies will continue Sunday evening as the wind diminishes. Overnight lows into Easter morning will plummet to the upper-20s.

Morning frost will impact outdoor Easter egg hunts and could damage spring flowers, so take those potted plants inside tonight.

Temperatures will only rebound to the mid-40s Easter afternoon, but you’ll enjoy bright sunshine and calmer winds.

Our next storm system will arrive Monday morning as snow flurries and rain showers move in.

The Monday morning commute will feel chilly with temperatures in the mid-30s. Snow will not accumulate, but will make for wet road conditions.

Rain showers will taper off Monday afternoon as temperatures climb to the mid-40s.

Dry weather will return Tuesday as temperatures reach 50° again.

Wednesday will start off dry and pleasant before more rain arrives late afternoon. Soaking downpours are likely Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. 

Sunny and dry weather will return Friday as temperatures soar to the 60s. 

Next weekend will bring a much warmer weather pattern with temperatures well in the 70s!
