DETROIT — We're one step closer to the football season kicking off as the NFL released schedules Wednesday for the upcoming season.
There's a ton of optimism in the city of Detroit after the Lions' historic season that culminated in a trip to the NFC Championship game where they fell just short of a berth into the Super Bowl.
But with a new season comes new challenges and plenty of primetime matchups for Lions fans to look forward to.
Here's Detroit's full week-by-week schedule:
