Monday will bring mainly dry conditions with only a slight chance for a pop-up shower.

Our next chance for widespread rain will arrive Tuesday, kicking off a wet weather pattern.

While many areas will briefly dry out Wednesday, more widespread downpours and thunderstorms are likely Thursday into Friday.

This week’s wet weather could put a pause on spring planting for many area farmers and gardeners, and several inches of rainfall is possible in the next 7 days.

Next weekend will bring the return of cooler conditions with high temperatures in the 60s.
