THURSDAY, Aug. 16
Toledo Mud Hens are home from Monday through Sunday!
Folk Music Concert Series | Wildwood Preserve, Manor House Lawn | 7 p.m.

The final concert in this series on Thursday will be performed on the Manor House Lawn at Wildwood Preserve Metropark. This concert features Si Kahn. The Charlotte, N.C., singer-songwriter is one of the nation's leading folk performers. He has performed for 45 years and recorded 16 CDs. More than 100 other artists have recorded his songs, which have been translated into more than a dozen languages. Tickets are $10 for food and entertainment; Cash Bar

If it is raining, the concert will be moved indoors at the Ward Pavilion located at Wildwood Preserve.

Art Loop Toledo | Dog Days of Summer | 5:30-9 p.m.

Behind many artists is a furry friend that supports and inspires creativity.

The Art Loop celebrates pets with special exhibitions of pet-themed art, pet portraits and characters, and special activities. Pets welcome!

FRIDAY, Aug. 17
Films in the Great Outdoors: The Wizard of Oz (1939) | Toledo Museum of Art | 9:15 – 11 p.m.

This event is free.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own snacks and seating such as a lawn chair or blankets.

The film will be screened on the outside of the Glass Pavilion.

St. George Orthodox Cathedral Annual Summer Fest | 3754 Woodley Road | Friday-Sunday

This year's festival opens on Friday at 5 p.m. and runs through midnight, featuring local bands Arctic Clam and Grape Smugglers as well as traditional Middle Eastern music and dancing. Ethnic and American food will be available for purchase, including sfeeha (meatpies), green beans and rice, baked kibbe, grape leaves and Middle Eastern pastries. Adult beverages and soft drinks available. On Saturday, The 25's and BeefCarvers will take the stage. There is also a children's area and guided church tours by Father Michael Shaheen. Tickets are $5 on Friday and Saturday and free on Sunday. Children 10 and younger are free.

Polish Heritage Night | Toledo Mud Hens | 7 p.m.

Mud Hens will host Polish Heritage Night presented by Stanley's Market, when you can eat and dance to your heart's content! Arrive at Hensville Park early to enjoy live Polish music by Badinov and feast on an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring Stanley's famous kielbasa. Fill your tummy and work it off with a few polka dances before enjoying the Mud Hens taking on Rochester at Fifth Third Field. Cost is $33 for adults, $25 for kids 12 and under. There will be post-game fireworks and a concert.

Waterville Kroger Discover Local Event | Waterville | 4-7 p.m.

This event features products from local farms and suppliers. The family-friendly event will offer free sampling, meet-and-greet opportunities and kids' activities. Shoppers can sample local products and talk with the farmers and representatives of the companies that provide them.

SATURDAY, August 18
44th Annual Birmingham Ethnic Festival | Consaul Street | Noon-9 p.m.

Attend the fest and sample popular Hungarian foods including: Chicken Paprikas, Hunky Turkey (Roasted Bacon Sandwich), Stuffed Cabbage, Kolbasz/Sausage Sandwiches, Gulyas, Palacsinta (crepes), Cabbage and Noodles and Pastries. Event starts at St. Stephen's Church, beginning with a flag raising ceremony, announcement of the recipient of the Birmingham Friend of the Neighborhood Award, recognition of local and international guests, and presentation of the Beer Keg Trophy to the winner of the Waiters Race. Ethnic dance groups will perform both Saturday and Sunday.

2018 Toledo Pride – Pride Parade

Join Toledo Pride in 2018 as Adams Street in Downtown Toledo is lined with people once again to show support for the area LGBTQIA+ community.

Last year, more than 50 local businesses, community organizations and religious organizations participated in the Toledo Pride Parade with thousands of excited, supportive spectators lining the streets of Downtown Toledo

Hard Days Night: Beatles Tribute at Hensville Live! | Hensville Park | 9:30 p.m.-midnight

Hensville Live! presented by NSG, includes an up-close downtown fireworks experience followed by live music from the best local, regional and national acts performing free on the Owens Corning stage in Hensville Park.
