FINDLAY, OH (WTOL) - Mary Eleanor Ronez turned 105 years old on Friday and her family is hoping the community can help them reach their goal of cards for the Findlay resident's birthday.
Ronez celebrated her birthday last Saturday at Shadylake Campground, visiting with family from Colorado, Arizona, Michigan and Ohio.
Her family has requested birthday cards be sent to her. She has received about 64 cards to date with a goal of 105, and receiving the well wishes has been a source of joy for her.
"Eleanor cannot wait for the mail every day to see if she gets more cards," said her granddaughter, Valerie Mannor.
