Now, as always, we're committed to being Toledo's News Leader, and we will give you the facts about WTOL's parent company, Raycom, being bought by Gray Television in a $3.6 billion deal, pending FCC approval.

Many things remain up in the air at this time, but here are the concrete details we can share:

1. We will continue to bring you the news and information you need, in the same wide variety of formats. You can continue to count on us for award-winning content -- whether it's through our 55 hours of television news broadcasts a week, on our WTOL.com site, our Roku and Amazon Firestick apps, our Facebook and Twitter sites, Instagram or our free news and weather apps, we're here for you.

2. We are not merging with any other station.

3. FOX36 will continue to provide WTOL news at  7a.m., 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.
