(Toledo News Now) - Good news for the revitalization of downtown Toledo. Another big company just decided to move into the heart of the Glass City.
The Lathrop company announced plans Monday to move more than 50 salaried employees into a downtown Toledo location.
The location still hasn't been finalized but there are many contenders.
Tom Manahan, president of Lathrop, says, "our company spent its first 85 years in the City of Toledo. Although we have been in Maumee for the past 34 years in effect, we are going back to where the company started, in the city."
The earliest the company is expected to move is late 2014.
