TIFFIN, OH (Toledo News Now) - Investigators still have not pinpointed what started the blaze that ripped through a Tiffin mobile home Sunday, killing a father and five children. In the meantime, more outpouring support comes from the community, as visitation begins for the children who died.
Anna Angel's boyfriend, 25-year-old Timothy Fresch, died in the fire with his 2-year-old son, Domonic. Sadly, Angel's four other children also lost their lives: 6-year-old Tiara Angel, 5-year-old Stormie Huey, 4-year-old Trinitie Huey and 3-year-old Sunshine Huey.
Before releasing any details on the cause of the fire, the fire marshal's office wants to speak with the family first.
Visitation is until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home on North Washington Street in Tiffin. A steady stream of visitors have been stopping by, many with flowers in hand, to pay their respects to those young lives taken too soon. Tiara, Stormie and Sunshine are in one open casket. Their sister, Trinitie, is in a separate closed casket.
Stormie, Trinitie and Sunshine's father, Rickie, says he wants his girls to rest in peace together.
"I'm happy they're being buried together because my kids loved each other. They never caused a problem with each other. They didn't argue. Nothing. They shared everything," said Huey.
The funeral is scheduled for Thursday morning. Community members are raising money to help cover funeral costs and replace belongings lost in the fire.
A candlelight vigil will be held at the Tiffin Police and Fire All Patriots Memorial Friday night at dusk or 9 p.m., whichever is first. People are asked to bring their own candles to the vigil, if able. A jar will be at the vigil for those who wish to donate. Money will be placed in the fund set up at U.S. Bank.
Donations can be also be dropped off at the Burger King on West Market Street where Angel works.
