TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Toledo's annual fireworks celebration, Red, White & Kaboom, is underway at Promenade Park and International Park.
Festivities kicked off at 6 p.m. with vendors serving food and beverages. A local country band will start the music scene at 7 p.m. A Motown cover band will follow at 8:30 p.m.
The fireworks show will start at 10 p.m. so grab a seat in Promenade Park or across the river at International Park. If you're traveling by boat, dock space will be free along Promenade Park.
Traffic Closures will take place at 9 p.m. in the following locations:
-King Bridge
-Summit Street between Washington Street and Cherry Street
-Monroe Street between Summit Street and Huron Street
The Mud Hens will also be shooting off fireworks after their game which starts at 6 p.m. against the Columbus Clippers. Find tickets to the game here.
