FINDLAY, OH (Toledo News Now) - Cuts could be made in the Findlay Fire Department. City Council will meet Tuesday to hear from the department and make a recommendation.

On Tuesday night, firefighters will make their final appeal to City Council members to make their plea on why cuts should not be made. A total of 20 jobs are on the chopping block.

On Monday, Councilman Randy Ward said they were going to vote, but now he says they will not and only make a recommendation at the end of the meeting. Still, Ward says whatever is said tonight should not change anything.

Council could vote at their next meeting, March 19, or the first week of April, but a specific day for the vote has not yet been determined.
