TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Toledo Zoo tweeted photos Friday of the new polar bear cub twins venturing outside for the first time.
The mother bear, Crystal, took her twins outside for the first time since their birth on November 21. The cubs were curious about the humans but also wanted to stay close to mom at first.
Crystal and the babies are not on exhibit currently, so they can bond and stay healthy. Proud dad Marty remains on exhibit.
The cubs will be available for public viewing beginning in May of 2013.
