TOLEDO (WTOL) - A man who was found not guilty for a Toledo triple murder is now facing up to one year behind bars.
In the middle of his dog fighting trial, Goldy Thompson pled guilty Wednesday, September 9 for no insurance and failure to restrain his dog.
The plea deal dropped the maximum time from three years to one when he is sentenced next month.
A jury found Thompson not guilty last year for the 2006 murders of Todd Archambeau, Kenneth Nicholson, and Michael York.
His brother Stoney Thompson was found guilty and is serving a life sentence.
