Today in Toledo History: Saloons a plenty, the Nitro Bandit met his end behind bars and Rossford namesake Edward Ford died
On June 24 in 1910 more than 600 saloons were operating in Lucas County. In 1920 Edward Ford died, and in 1936 the notorious Nitro Bandit died in prison.
