JACKSON, Mississippi — **Watch video of the confrontation below**
MSNBC correspondent Shaquille Brewster was on live television Monday when he was aggressively confronted by a random passerby.
Brewster was reporting live from Gulfport, Miss. for MSNBC on Hurricane Ida when a white pickup truck pulled up behind him.
Video shows a man angerly rush toward the camera as Brewster was on the air, causing Brewster and his cameraman to move to a different spot.
"Report accurately. Report accurately," the man can be heard shouting in the video.
After moving, the man appears back in view and shown getting into Brewster's face. The video is cut back to MSNBC Anchor Craig Melvin who then expresses his concern at what he witnessed.
"Hey hey hey," Melvin said while on camera. "We're going to check in with Shaq Brewster just to make sure all is well."
After the ordeal, Brewster tweeted on his page about the confrontation saying they were ok.
Melvin also relayed to viewers that Brewster was not harmed.
"You probably saw or heard a few moments ago, one of our correspondents was disrupted by some wacky guy during his live shot in Mississippi," Melvin continued. "Pleased to report that Shaquille Brewster is doing just fine. Shaq is OK."

MSNBC President Rashida Jones later stated in a statement her praise to Brewster for showcasing actions of a "consummate professional."
"Shaq Brewster is an exceptional journalist," she said. "Like the consummate professional, he did not let someone intimidate him from doing his job. We're glad he and the team are safe, and we couldn't be more proud and supportive of their work."
