Western Washington Forecast

Plenty of sun again Friday. Increasing clouds Saturday with cooler air and showers Sunday and for the Fourth.

PUGET SOUND FORECAST

Clear to start tonight with clouds and fog developing after midnight. Lows will drop between the low to mid 50s. Fog quickly disappears Friday leaving another sunny and warm afternoon. Highs will reach the upper 70s to lower 80s.

DISCUSSION

We're staying quiet tonight as skies begin clear before patchy clouds and fog take over late and linger to start Friday.

High pressure remains in control of western Washington allowing for a couple more days of dry and warm weather. Highs will stay in the mid to upper 70s through Saturday with partly to mostly sunny skies.

Late this weekend, a weak weather system brushes by for more clouds and a few showers beginning Sunday and continuing into Monday. While it won't be a washout, a few showers are possible and highs will fall into the mid to upper 60s.

Right now, the Fourth of July holiday looks partly sunny with a chance of a few showers - mainly north of Seattle but it should dry out just in time for you to light the fireworks.

We'll start up another stretch of warm and sunny weather afterwards Tuesday through Thursday as highs bounce back in the 70s.
