PUGET SOUND FORECAST
Patchy morning fog, otherwise hazy sunshine Friday through the weekend. Mostly moderate air quality. Highs in the mid to upper 70s. Light winds.
High pressure continues to sit along the coast over the next few days for sunshine and highs warming to the mid to upper 70s Seattle southward and low to mid 70s north of Seattle. Normal highs are in the low to mid 60s. But it is fall, so we will see patchy fog in the mornings otherwise sunshine.
Offshore winds are once again pushing smoke from the Cascade wildfires back into western Washington. This will give us hazy afternoons with most places in the interior of western Washington seeing mostly moderate air quality for Friday and the weekend. However, we could see worse air quality as you get close to the Cascade foothills.
Monday will still see hazy sunshine, but a very weak weather disturbance will move over our high pressure allowing a weak cold front to brush by Monday night into Tuesday for a few more clouds and a very slight chance of a few morning sprinkles or drizzle Tuesday.
High pressure will rebuild by late Tuesday for a return to patchy morning fog and more sunshine with temperatures pushing back toward the 70s by midweek and possibly lasting through the weekend!
Still no sign of any significant rainfall headed our way in the next 10 to 14 days.
