TOLEDO, Ohio — Friday morning will be chilly with temperatures in the lower 30s. Afternoon sunshine will quickly lift highs to the upper 50s.
Opening day at Fifth Third Field will feature a home run of a forecast with mild temperatures, lots of spring sunshine, and fairly calm winds out of the northwest at 5-15 mph.
Temperatures will drop back into the 40s after the game with increasing cloud coverage.
Our next weather disturbance will bring widespread rain showers Friday night into Saturday morning.
Rain showers return early Saturday and will stick around throughout the morning. Spotty showers are likely Saturday afternoon with temperatures in the upper 50s.
Dry weather is expected into Sunday morning for Easter egg hunts, but it will feel a bit chilly with temperatures in the upper 30s.
Sunday afternoon will bring partly to mostly cloudy skies with high temperatures in the 50s.
A stray shower is possible on Easter. Otherwise, mostly cloudy skies are expected.
More showers are likely for the first half of next week to kick off the month of April.
Temperatures go from the upper 40s next Monday to the low 60s on Friday.
Dry weather will return midweek along with temperatures in the 50s.
Sunshine will return Thursday into next weekend.
