HANCOCK COUNTY, Ohio — Two people were hospitalized following a Sunday morning crash in Hancock County, according to the sheriff's office.

Police say Amy Adkins, 36, was travelling southbound on SR 37 near CR 26 in Jackson Township when she lost control of her vehicle at a curve.

Her car crossed into the opposite lane of travel, colliding with a car in the northbound direction, according to police. Benjamin Miller, 46, was identified as the driver of that car.

Adkins and Miller were transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital with unknown injuries.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Office was assisted on the scene by Delaware Township Fire Department, Hancock County EMS, Dicks Towing and D&D Towing.
