TOLEDO, Ohio — The head coach of the Toledo Rockets men's basketball team has tested positive for COVID-19.
Coach Tod Kowalczyk announced on Twitter Monday morning that he had tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday. Kowalczyk said he was self-isolating for ten days, following protocols established by the university's medical staff.
Associate head coach Jeff Massey will take over coaching duties until Kowalczyk returns.
