BAHAMAS (WTOL) - The Toledo Rockets are in The Bahamas for their bowl game against Florida International.
Leading up to Friday’s game, the Rockets are practicing and doing fun activities each day on the island.
A huge part of Toledo football is giving back, and that doesn’t stop this week.
On Wednesday, part of the team went to a children’s shelter to give back. Another group hosted a kids football camp.
The veteran guys had some fun in the sun back at The Atlantis Resort. Huge water slides became a hot spot for a racing completion.
But there was business to be done as well. In the morning, Jason Candle’s staff had to balance practice with National Signing Day, with Coach Candle calling it a “Rat Race”.
Thursday the Rockets will have a walk-through.
Then Friday at 12:30 p.m, the Rockets will face FIU in The Bahamas Bowl.
