LOS ANGELES — Taco Tuesday is back. Not that it ever actually went anywhere.
Still, it's been a while since Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James celebrated, at least publicly.
Whether you're working from home, quarantining, or social distancing, you may have lost track of the days. But yesterday on his Instagram story, James reminded all of us at the best possible time.
"I know everybody's been thinking about what's been going on," he said, presumably referring to the coronavirus pandemic. "But just try and stay positive as much as possible."
Seriously, how good do those tacos look?
But it's not just LeBron who's getting in on the celebration. The LeBron James Family Foundation is keeping the Taco Tuesday tradition alive and well.
I Promise School teachers and staff, along with some volunteers set out yesterday to help families and businesses struggling due to Governor Mike DeWine's stay at home order, by putting together Taco Tuesday meals for I Promise families.
Altogether, the foundation was able to feed over 1,300 people yesterday. And they'll keep the tradition alive next week.
If you want to keep the celebration alive, some local taco spots are offering delivery and, pickup and car-side options.
